Privacy Policy
The Short Version
We're a small card game company, not a data business. We collect the minimum we need to ship your order and send you the emails you asked for.
We don't sell your personal information. We never see your card number. And you can have your data deleted by sending one email to hello@yodm.com.
The rest of this page is the detail behind those three sentences.
Who We Are
yodm.com is operated by Our Rose LLC, a limited liability company based in Brooklyn, New York. If you have any question about your data, email hello@yodm.com.
What We Collect
When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, and what you bought. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor — they never reach our servers, and we never see or store your card number.
When you join the newsletter: your email address, and which part of the site you signed up from.
When you use the contact form: your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.
When you simply browse: standard, aggregated usage data such as which pages were viewed and roughly where visitors came from. There are no accounts or logins on this site, so there is no profile tied to you.
Why We Collect It
To take payment, ship your order, and email you a receipt and tracking link.
To send the newsletter and your welcome discount code, if you asked for those.
To answer you when you contact us.
To understand which pages people actually read, so we know what to make more of.
To meet our legal and tax obligations, such as keeping records of sales.
Who We Share It With
Stripe processes payments and handles your card details and billing information under its own privacy policy.
Resend sends our transactional and newsletter email, and stores subscriber email addresses on our behalf.
Vercel hosts the site and provides privacy-friendly, aggregated traffic analytics.
Shipping carriers receive the name and address needed to deliver your package.
That's the whole list. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own independent marketing.
Cookies & Tracking
The site uses aggregated analytics that measure page views without building an advertising profile of you.
If and when we advertise, we may also load conversion pixels from Meta, TikTok, or Google Analytics. These use cookies or similar technology to tell us that an ad led to a visit or a purchase. You can limit this through your browser's cookie settings, your device's ad-tracking controls, or the privacy settings on those platforms.
We don't use cookies to track you across unrelated websites for our own purposes.
How Long We Keep It
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes — generally seven years, which is what US tax record-keeping expects.
Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept until they're resolved and no longer useful.
Your Choices & Rights
Unsubscribe from the newsletter any time using the link at the bottom of every email we send. It takes effect immediately.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@yodm.com and we'll respond within 30 days. We may need to keep certain order records even after a deletion request, where the law requires it.
Depending on where you live — for example California, or the UK and EU — you may have additional statutory rights, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We apply the rights described above to everyone who asks, wherever you are.
Children
YODM is a game for adults and this site is not directed to children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, email hello@yodm.com and we'll delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own PCI-compliant systems, and access to our email and order tools is limited to people who need it.
No system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise absolute security — but we keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection there is.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and change the date below. If the change is significant and we have your email address, we'll tell you directly.
